New Correct Toes Sport: Softer and More Flexible for Longer Activities

Brought to you by the creators of the very first in-shoe toe spacers and Altra

Did you know that foot strengthening is statistically the #1 way to prevent running and other sport injuries, and that nearly all chronic foot conditions are caused by our feet deforming to look more like the tapered toe box shoes that we wear?

Correct Toes Sport is a new, sport-specific version of the world's first in-shoe toe spacers, Correct Toes. Designed to be worn inside of athletic shoes during activity, CT Sport are designed to address the root cause of many foot issues and alleviate issues with:

  • Forefoot pain, including morton's and other neuromas, sesamoiditis, and metatarsalgia
  • Bunions, Tailor Bunions, and toes that are crowded together
  • Plantar fasciopathies (fasciitis), heel, and arch pain
  • Excessive pronation, rolled ankles, and poor balance
  • Toes that are touching each other, crowded, or no longer straight
  • Feet that are no longer widest at the tips of the toes

The Sport model features softer, more flexible silicone with more big toe spacing and less aggressive spacing on the little toe side.

Correct Toes Sport is a new version of the very first original and best active toe spacers!

Designed by two elite runners & pioneers of the natural foot care industry, Altra Creator and Founder Golden Harper, and Podiatrist Dr. Ray McClanahan, DPM. Correct Toes are the only toe spacers we've found to work well for walking or running long distances inside of foot-shaped shoes.  Made of soft, flexible silicone, they are designed to align toes, strengthen feet, & restore the foot’s original position & function, while enabling natural arch support. Research has shown them to be effective in treating the root causes of plantar fasciosis (fasciitis), bunions, neuromas, hammer toes, numbness, circulation problems, and other forefoot maladies.

  • Strengthen & re-align feet to treat the root cause of most chronic foot conditions!
  • Natural orthotics instantly improve stability by restoring feet to their natural position
  • Proven to increase circulation and blood flow (healing)
  • Proven to improve balance & reduce falls
  • Aligns the foot in position to allow the arch to support itself & prevents excessive pronation as a result

Our founder has even set records running 14,000 foot peaks while wearing Correct Toes in foot-shaped shoes. They are ideal for most chronic foot conditions, and for stabilizing unstable feet and ankles. Because effectiveness is determined by using when you're most active and wearing them for as much of the day as possible, being able to wear them in shoes allows them to be FAR more effective than other toe spacers that can only be worn without shoes, or that restrict splay by wrapping around the outsides of toes. Don't fall for cheap alternatives, especially those that wrap around the outside of the big toe or pinky toe that cut off circulation and restrict toe splay, which defeats many of the benefits!

Correct Toes are podiatrist-designed to place each toe in the correct anatomical position in relationship to each other and to the ground. The width can be customized with the use of shims in the first and fourth interspaces.

Examples of positive outcomes with the use of Dr. Ray’s Correct Toes:

  1. Correction of: bunions, hallux limitus and rigidus, tailor’s bunions, corns, ingrown toenails, heel pain, plantar fasciosis, neuromas, capsulitis, lower leg pain, and runner’s knee. No surgery or medications required!
  2. Better balance in athletes, Parkinson’s patients, and elderly.
  3. Decreased injury rates in athletes, due to allowing the body to make better use of natural physiological adaptations that are hampered by current footwear available to athletes.
  4. Increased performance in athletes (especially walkers and runners) by promoting foot positions that scientific studies have shown to have a 4 to 5% performance edge.
  5. Improved strength and flexibility of the toes. This enhances proprioception, and subsequently the brain signals the body to move forward more naturally.
  6. Less osteoarthritis (also known as degenerative arthritis), which currently plagues a majority of senior citizens, as well as a high percentage of the younger population.

Correct Toes are designed to help the foot rehabilitate from the negative effects of conventionally shaped footwear. The device, made of soft, flexible silicone, encourages the toes back into their natural alignment found at birth. With progressive and consistent use while active and weight bearing, toes align and feet strengthen, restoring your foot’s original position and function.

Align.

Align toes and improve balance and stability.

Similar to braces impacting the alignment of teeth, Correct Toes slowly and progressively change foot architecture. Structural changes create a wider base of support, improving balance, proprioception, gait and posture.

Strengthen.

Strengthen muscles throughout the foot and lower leg.

Accompanied by naturally-shaped footwear, Correct Toes encourage the foot to move, flex and bend. As muscles strengthen, the foot is able to support itself, eliminating the need for artificial arch support and orthotics.

Restore.

Restore foot function and relieve foot pain.

Correct Toes is a foot health tool that can be used to restore normal and natural foot and toe function. Foot pain and problems can be resolved when the toes are realigned in the way that nature intended.

 What Makes Correct Toes Unique

Correct Toes Sport will last longest if care is taken to be gentle when removing them without stretching. They are easily cleaned with a quick rinse in soap and warm water. Air dry in a secure location. Please keep out of the reach of small children and pets. Caution: pets love to chew this soft silicone device.

Size Chart:

Note: If you have narrow feet, consider sizing down. Consider sizing up for extra wide feet. Width is more important than length when fitting these.
We feel the size chart is particularly inaccurate for size XS, which seems to only fit feet narrower than 2.8". If you are bigger than a Women's 5 and the widest part of your foot is 2.9" or wider, then we recommend going with a Small. One of our staff members is a size 6 with 3" width and the XS is definitely too small for her.
