FloatRun Harness Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How often should I wear the FloatRun Harness?
A: It should be worn nearly every run for 6-12 weeks. The more it is worn, the sooner your improved technique will become second nature. After that, we suggest pulling the harness out once a month for a check up and tuneup.
Q: Do you offer bulk pricing for school groups, large running clubs, or coaching?
A: YES! Our mission is to improve running technique everywhere as quickly as possible. We will practically give these away for schools, youth groups, and other large training groups.
Q: How long will the FloatRun Harness Last?
A: A long time. The harness should last around a year if treated well, and could potentially last decades if treated right (kept clean and out of the sun and heat, etc.)
Q: How do I know if my FloatRun Harness fits correctly?
A: The harness should fit relaxed but snug around the shoulders without being too loose in the back or under the armpits. It should pull just enough to remind you to keep your shoulders back. Because it is very stretchy, it's hard to get the sizing wrong. If you bought a size closest to your unisex t-shirt size, it should fit well.
Q: What should it feel like?
A: That depends on the runner. However, generally speaking it may feel very different at first. It will remind your to keep your shoulders back and adopt proud, tall posture. Likely, your arms will be much further back and move much less than you are used to. This will all start to feel fairly normal within a few weeks.
Q: How do I know if I'm using the FloatRun Harness correctly?
A: It's pretty simple, follow the directions of how to put it on and run, while focusing on three things:
1) Don't stretch the thumb loops much, if any.
2) Keep your elbows back.
3) Move your arms as little as necessary for the pace you are going. Pump the elbows back to accelerate.
